1. Who runs this site

EOSNorthTexas.com is operated by Ray Myers on behalf of the North Texas EOS® Implementer Community and the annual We Run on EOS® Dallas event. This site is a static marketing page. It does not host user accounts, checkout, or ticket sales — those are handled by third parties (Eventbrite, EOS Worldwide) under their own privacy policies.

2. What we collect

Directly from you: nothing. This site has no forms, no sign-up fields, no account creation, and no payment processing.

Automatically, when you visit any page: standard web-server and analytics data, which may include:

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, government IDs, financial information, precise geolocation, or health information on this site.

3. Why we collect it

We do not use your information for advertising, retargeting, or building a profile about you.

4. Who we share it with

We share the automatically-collected data described above with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf:

We do not sell your personal information for money. Under California law, however, the flow of analytics data to Google may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. See Section 7 for how to opt out.

5. Cookies & analytics

Google Analytics 4 sets a small number of first-party cookies (typically _ga and _ga_<property>) to distinguish unique visitors. These cookies do not contain personal identifiers, and expire automatically after up to 24 months.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on this site in three ways:

  1. Click the button below. This sets a small cookie on your browser that tells this site to disable Google Analytics for all future visits from this device.
  2. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  3. Enable your browser's built-in tracking protection or the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. This site respects the GPC signal automatically.

6. How long we keep it

Google Analytics is configured with the default 2-month or 14-month user-level data retention window. Aggregate (de-identified) reports are retained indefinitely. Server-level logs at Cloudflare and GitHub follow those providers' standard retention schedules (typically 30 days or less for raw request logs).

7. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the following rights regarding personal information we may hold about you:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at ray.myers@eosworldwide.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will verify your request (typically by asking you to confirm from the email address associated with any interaction, or by asking two data points that match our records) and respond within 45 days as required by law. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; the agent must provide signed written permission.

The full text of the California Consumer Privacy Act is available at oag.ca.gov/privacy/ccpa.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Use the opt-out button in Section 5 above, or send an email to ray.myers@eosworldwide.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share."

8. Children's privacy

This site is intended for business owners and leadership teams. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page for at least 30 days.
